During my stay, I enjoyed the amazing views of Lake Kawaguchi and the warm hospitality of the staff. The traditional Japanese breakfast was good, but the steep hill made access a bit challenging. It felt like a hidden gem worth revisiting.

The stay offered an exceptional experience with a stunning lake view and a private onsen in the room, perfect for relaxation. The kaiseki dinner was beautifully presented and authentic, complemented by delicious grilled meats at breakfast. However, the amenities could benefit from a refresh, and the dining area felt a bit cramped during peak hours. The remote location, while picturesque, posed some accessibility challenges for those without a vehicle.

All my thoughts, no sugarcoating
The views from the room are nothing short of breathtaking. Enjoyed the private onsen experience immensely, and the evening lounge with cocktails was a bonus. A few quirks needed attention, like the older bathroom facilities. Nonetheless, excellent service made the stay unforgettable. Definitely worth it for a peaceful retreat.

We had such a relaxing time here, enjoying the beautiful Tatami room and the view of Lake Kawaguchiko right from our bed! The private onsen and public bath were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The only minor downside was that access to the hotel could be a bit tricky, but it was totally worth it. 😊

I really loved the stunning views of Lake Kawaguchiko from the hotel. The massive floor-to-ceiling windows in the room made the experience even better. I enjoyed the spaciousness of the room and the tatami area that added a traditional touch. The food served during breakfast and dinner in the lounge exceeded my expectations. everything was delicious and the light dinner was surprisingly filling. I also had a fantastic experience with the onsen, both private and public, which were clean and well-maintained. The hotel staff were super helpful and recommended spots for watching the sunset over Mount Fuji. I appreciated the efficient shuttle service to the station, avoiding a steep walk. One downside was the lack of a lift—if I had been on a higher floor, carrying luggage would have been a challenge. Also, breakfast ended quite early at 9:00 AM, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, I left feeling relaxed and happy with my stay.

The room was spacious with a stunning view of Lake Kawaguchiko, especially beautiful in the fall. I loved having a private onsen right in the room, got to soak while gazing out! They even provided yukatas for us to wear, which was a nice touch. Sleep quality was solid, but the bed was pretty low to the floor, typical of Japanese style. Bathroom was a bit dated but worked fine. Overall, really comfy and cozy vibe.
